  We booked this place under the impression that the fishing was in his back garden as steve mentioned in the email we sent him.me , my father and his pal go away once per year fishing and we only like places where we can wake up and walk to the swim so when we asked him where is the ebro from your house his reply was its in my front garden .....so we booked it , to our surprise when we arrive we have to drive 25 minutes down a dirt track to the swim and have to decent a 30 metre almost vertical cliff , now i know a lot of people don't mind this and some crazy people even enjoy it and i appreciate this , but this was not what we was looking for and if steve would have replied with the sensible answer when we asked him where is the river from the apartment? " its 50 m from my house its my front garden BUT we don't ever fish there we drive 20 min down the road and absale down Everest to get to the swim " , we would have said no thank you and gone else where ! After day 1 we approached steve and said we don't like this and this was not what was described on the email that was sent and asked if there was any where else we could fish , steve said yes the ebro is 50m from my house but we cant fish it (why would any1 ask wheres the river on the fishing holiday without wanting to fish there ) he also said you can fish where ever you like you are DIY anglers and pointed us in the direction of a dump of a beach across the river full of snags . After that day we insisted we cannot stay here as this was not why we traveled to the ebro and he didn't want us to go saying its not about the money let me try to help you tomorrow "fish next to me and ill try my best " ( witch was very nice of him as we Are only diy angers) however it was worse than day one the hill was a death trap where you walk down and the rocks create a land slide ! Steve did take our baits out on the boat 2 times during the day but it was far from enjoyable , we felt he wanted us to stay as he was gonna lose out 150e off the bill and didn't care less about keeping the customer happy . Now i know you pay for what you use but in my business if i made a mistake and misled the customer i would never charge the customer full as it was my fault . As i said if you enjoy working like a steam train all day climbing up a vertical hill to catch almost nothing steves your guy ! If you want a nice surrounding with good people and good fishing go to riba roja ! Ill end on a positive the apartment was nice and clean and the pizza place 20 min drive away was nice ! Apart from that this place was hell !

  Just returned from a weeks guided fishing with Steve. I caught carp to 47lbs 8oz and cats to 134lbs. During my weeks stay I lost count of the amounts of 20′s and 30′s carp that I caught and on some days managed 10+ cats. I had four carp over 40lbs three of which came in an afternoon and three 100lb plus catfish. I can easily say the best weeks big fish fishing I’ve ever had. Food and accommodation were great and I don’t have one complaint about my whole week as the guiding was first class and all my holiday requirements were met. Anyone who loves carp and cats should try this out its great. The potential of this place is unbelievable.
